It is important that a representative from each committee attend the main meeting (Mon. at 5 pm in VU 425).

Committee Reports:

Wind

• Need more members (Scott and Rose the only members now).
• Administration wants the turbine to be at the waterfront, not Sehome or south campus.
• Looking for donation of wind measuring devices.
• Next meeting is Fri, Nov. 2 at 4 pm.

Conservation

• Turn-off-your-light campaign: logo has been designed; removable stickers to be made.
• Posters with slogans to be made.
  

Education

• Dana Brandt to speak Nov. 8 at 7 pm in CF 125 about solar in Bellingham
• Members are asking local businesses to sponsor the talks.
  

Solar

• Malie found out that $137,900 in extra green tag funds is going to cover present green tag costs. (We are looking for funds for future solar panels.)
• Ben will talk to Jim Schuster this Wed. about the digital display of kiosk info.
• The committee will meet with administrators on Mon., Nov. 5 at 4 pm about kiosk content.
