Wind:

• Did not meet last week, but will meet this week Fri., Oct. 19 at 4 pm

Education:

• Businesses will be asked to sponsor a speaker for the lecture series.
  
• Al Gore to come to Western?

Conservation: (largest committee)

• Brainstormed ideas, like turn-off-the-light stickers, semi-permanent posters, “Do it in the Dark” night (spring quarter), and promotion of CF lights for personal lamps.

Solar Panel Demo. System:

• Fri., Oct. 12 issue of Western Front has an article about the system.

Upcoming Events:

• Campus Sustainability Day is Wed., Oct. 24 at 8:45 am (includes webcast and panel).

Possibility of changing to a different meeting room.

Committee numbers are off-balance; it might help if members move from committees with large numbers (like conservation) to committees with fewer members (like solar and wind).
